Marketing via Facebook Places

How do you know that online marketing works? In the first place, no one in their right mind would upgrade or add another application if online marketing is a fluke. Facebook naturally saw how effective social networking is especially to those running small businesses.
The Facebook Places feature would provide customers and their friends a chance to market small businesses by marking their current location. Social networking has taken the whole world by storm and small businesses milk it for what it’s worth. By telling friends where they are, customers are helping to advertise the existence of small businesses. Location-based applications help small businesses be more visible to people. With the advent of this app, the word of mouth marketing has taken on a new definition. Although Facebook Places is yet to be launched worldwide, the benefits of free advertising are enticing enough that I’m sure most business around the world cannot wait to try this feature out.
