Josh Chandler in U.K. Start Up Contest

Now guys, this is really amazing. A teen at 17 years old in U.K. Start Up Contest. That teen I am referring to is Josh Chandler. I know what you are thinking. You're thinking he is one of the participants? Well, he is still amazing if that's the case but the truth is he's one of the judges and at as young as he is - already inclined into business. Well for the winner of this contest , he will be given the chance to pitch his idea to a venture capitalist and if granted will be able to win funding for his business. That sounds really interesting. It will really be a dream come true for all U.K. internet business dreamers.

Google is my dream. What's yours?

Here's another inspiring dream for you guys! I have been dreaming when I was in College how will I become a part of Google team. Well, who wouldn't want to be when Google is now one of the most recognized world wide web personalities. It may be too ambitious but as of now it's the only way I can avail of- for free.

Let's take a look how it started. Google began in January 1996 as a research project by Larry Page, a Ph.D. student at Stanford. How productive world will be if all or if not all - at least the most of IT graduates will be able to come up with projects as useful as Google, right? I believe there are a lot who have made it really useful but really just lack that spirit to pursue and make his project implemented and known for its existence. Most, if not all, lacked a little bit of push-push and push!

So what's your dream, particularly, your Internet business dream? You are very welcome to share it here in the comments section. Thanks!

Considering a Business Opportunity

According to Darren Gaudry , there are a couple of things that come into play that you must consider when you are starting a business opportunity of your own.
1. What is your budget and how much money you have to invest?
2. What is an area of expertise or interest of yours?
Btw, Darren Gaudry is the CEO of PassportToWealth and have been teaching a lot of people in getting into online and homebased business.

Twitter, Twitter and Twitter!

Here's a wiki definition of what Twitter is.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.

Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.

Now I did not imagine how useful it is for bloggers. Well, I came across with Small Business Trends and there I found how twitter users quickly respond to Anita's question about How To Treat Your Blog As A Business. Check it out.

Meet the Evil Blogger - John Chow!

John Chow has been tagged as the Evil Blogger. If you visit his site, you will really be impressed with his blog earnings. His blog income report as of June 2008 reaches $40K. That's quite a lot. Well, trying to look from his earnings alone you will be wondering why in the world he is tagged as the evil blogger when these earnings mean inspiration. Is it? Well, you might will get interested in various lessons presented by several authors why John Chow has been tagged this way.

One example is: 4 Lessons From John Chow Google Bombing Experience. Another article is written Jim Kukral, John Chow Is Killing His Blog By Trying Too Hard To Make Money. I knew this is written a year ago but it's worth to read. All internet business dreamers and bloggers like me will surely learn a lot from these.

It's hard but more than possible!

It's Hard But More Than Possible: Getting your internet business off the ground is going to be the hard part. Finding customers, affordable advertising, promotional strategies, and establishing your brand is going to be a big challenge.

As long as you're willing to ride through the difficulties, you should be able to glean just as much success as you would with an offline business.

I quoted this from impliedbydesign[dot]com, where the author wrote about Keeping the Internet Business Dream Alive. Unfortunately the author is anonymous but I'm thanking whoever that author is because he awakened me that I, as a new IT business entrepreneur, must re-hash my Internet Business dream and start pounding on the pavement - as the author said.

Technology is useful but must also be COOL!

Technology really evolved so fast that we should keep ourselves abreast to it. One aspect we also have to work out is our creativity. It should work hand in hand to make use of the technology! Just the same thing with what Wilson Ng did. Wilson Ng is from NGenius IT Hub and is currently managing a systems integration company, a businessman and a family man too.

Reminder for today:
Especially in gadgets and gizmos, and consumer retail, you should not only be useful — you should be cool!

Wilson Ng, in his first attempt for this promotional animation, he described NGenius IT Hub to be the new word for COOL. He stressed out the usefulness of technology and above all-being cool. Check out eNGy NGenius Concept Animation Ad.

Jawed Karim an Inspiration!

Featured for today: Jawed Karim

The YouTube co-founder looks for his new success. Jawed Karim is a 29-year-old Ph.D. student at Stanford University, is believed to be worth tens of millions of dollars or more.

He is a founder of online payment processor PayPal, which eBay acquired in 2002 for $1.5 billion. Four years later, Karim received $65 million in Google stock when the Internet giant bought YouTube for $1.65 billion. Now he's scouring Twin Cities to become the next YouTube hit. He is truly an inspiration in the world of Internet Business!

Start Up Reminder!

Grasp the bits that aren’t working for the buyer, and you have a way to outperform.

I was just inspired by the statement I quoted above. Svetlana Glatkova speaks about
Startup Dilemma: To Pitch or Not To Pitch (Yourself). Her article is substantially inspiring to me since I am one of those thousands who are planning and very eager to build business online. I am even thinking to start up my own online shopping mall which earlier I sited the domino effects it brought to the economy and all other independent businesses revolving around it.

Domino Effect of Internet Shopping Malls

Internet shopping is changing the way we do business. The availability of many online shopping websites is a proof to the revolutionized shopping in the world wide web. Thus, experts say online businesses are creating more job opportunities, with one seller hiring an average of three people. The more successful the business, the more openings arise. Due to this, positively these online businesses also helped banks profit on a 3 to 4 percent commissions on Internet banking. And courier services are seeing profits grow as well.

Now, who wouldn't be inspired to build online business?

Welcome. Read and Share!

Hi Guys, Welcome!

This is my nth time to create a blog but this time around it will be a lot serious and truthful to what I really wanted to be - an IT Entrepreneur.

Let me tell you why and how I came up with a business inspired niche for this blog. I just wanted to share this to you guys, "
The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be the beginning."

After my graduation day and even before that, I am really busy thinking and planning what to do with the degree I am holding. What am I going to do with my life? Will I get a job? Or shall I say do I really want to work in a traditional office setting? These are the questions and there are even a lot more of them popping out from my mind. Well, let me just say after a couple of months after my college life has ended, the experiences I had were too many and fast in pushing me to the dream which I originally and really been wanting to achieve- and that is to do business in the world of Information Technology! This is why I choose this niche for this blog. This will serve as an avenue for me to share and learn Internet Business. It's definitely a long journey guys and it would be a very meaningful journey if I have you by my side.

I welcome you all to this blog. You are very much welcome to read and share!
